1. We dare to use rich, enveloping colours
We are witnessing a real comeback of colour, with rich, enveloping shades: terracotta, ochre, deep brown, olive green and mocha. The palette is also expanding to include more subtle and sophisticated shades such as lavender, antique pink, emerald green, intense green, sapphire blue, and of course, the ever-popular burgundy.

2. Unify the room
The accent wall trend is giving way to a more comprehensive approach: enveloping the entire room. A single colour is used on the walls, mouldings, frames, doors and sometimes even the ceiling.
This approach involves immersing the space in a single shade — applied to the walls, ceiling and even furniture — to create a deep and enveloping atmosphere.

3. Play with materials
Natural stone is making a remarkable comeback this year. Marble is being used with bold, distinctive veining, particularly for fireplaces and countertops. Slate, large tiles, revisited terrazzo, checkerboard patterns, terracotta ceramic and amber glass are also gaining popularity.
Wood remains a staple, but dark woods and shades—such as chocolate brown—are now particularly popular.

4. Focus on a variety of textures
Organic materials such as linen, as well as richer textures such as curly wool and velvet, will also be very popular in 2026.

5. Curved lines are becoming popular
Rounded and organic shapes are at the heart of current trends. There is no need to completely transform your interior to embrace this movement: a few elements are enough, such as tables with curved lines, furniture with undulating silhouettes or sofas with enveloping shapes.
